The science
fiction scenarios actually require very little additions to the
rules. Most of the equipment charts include equipment for use in
futuristic scenarios. Plotlines can be easily gained from any
number of stories and/or movies. The most important part is to
decide what technological level you want your science fiction
scenario to fall in.
On the equipment tables are listed items of all
tech levels. Your campaign should only include those items that
you feel should exist at the time period you are playing. Decide
at what technology level you want your scenario or campaign to
start, and place it in any century you feel is appropriate.
Remember that scientific skills of characters will be operating at
this level.
You may like to come up with new
skills that you feel would be present in your futuristic society.
Feel free to develop strange
creatures to inhabit alien worlds. Nonhuman characters may be run,
at the referee's discretion. As a general rule each plus given to
a statistic for a nonhuman should have an equal minus on some
other statistic.
