Churches and Castles By Grade 7              The following are hand built replicas of  medieval castles complete with flying buttresses, naves, vaulted, ribbed arches and beautiful rose windows.  While building these detailed replicas, the students develop a greater understanding of the tremendous impact that church and castle architecture had on early western civilization.
